Starry Nights Meeting

Many of us can recall a time when more stars were visible in the night sky.  The disruption of our once pristine nighttime environment, as indicated by the disappearance of the Milky Way, has deep and profound consequences for gardening.  Tim will be talking to us about light pollution and its impact on nocturnal pollinators, agriculture, human health, safety, energy waste and the environment as a whole.  As we navigate a path forward to restore our starry skies, he will demonstrate several solutions that you can use on your own farm or garden.

Get Seeds

Members may select seeds from our seed sharing collection at this meeting. These are seeds that have been donated by seed companies.
