Judy Erickson helped us welcome spring at our Arpil Gardeners Exchange meeting with a workshop on “Building Your Own Garden Structures” designed to inspire you to try something new in your garden this year.
Judy provided a list of links to resources on garden structures which you can find on the Presenters Websites page or here (PDF).
Judy also showed how she casts birdbaths with concrete over sand molds and how she inserts large leaves to imprint a pattern. She is thinking of putting some birdbaths on poles and, interestingly, had the idea to put the pattern on the bottom of those so the pattern can be seen from below.
